Tessera

Terms of Use

The service

Tessera is an experimental serialized fiction platform. A story is written daily by an ensemble of AI agents and shaped by reader responses. The service is provided as-is, free of charge for the mainline story.

AI-generated content

Story content, including prose, characters, dialogue, and editorial framing, is generated by artificial intelligence under human editorial direction. While care is taken to ensure quality and coherence, AI output may occasionally contain errors, inconsistencies, or unexpected content. The story is fiction and does not represent the views of Tessera or its creators.

Your contributions

When you respond to story questions, your selected words and free-text responses become part of the aggregate signal that influences future installments. By submitting responses, you grant Tessera a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use your anonymized contributions as part of the creative process. Individual responses are never published or attributed.

Age requirement

Tessera is intended for readers aged 16 and older. The story explores moral complexity, institutional power, and human vulnerability in ways that may not be suitable for younger audiences.

Acceptable use

Free-text responses must not contain harassment, threats, hate speech, or illegal content. We reserve the right to remove responses and revoke access for violations.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, data preservation, or that the story will reach any particular conclusion. Tessera is an experiment in collaborative fiction between human and artificial intelligence.

Changes

We may update these terms as the project evolves. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
